Curious courage 

Here! God‘s breath gently 
Carries like water a tree:
Swaying and dancing.

Hier! Gottes Atem
Trägt wie Wasser einen Baum:
Sanft,schaukelnd,tanzend.

Weathered white plaster.
Cracks feeding dandelion.
Built on massive stones.

Black veins in blue sky,
The white butterflies flicker, 
Within themselves: life. 

Straight lines, clear structure.
The tree‘s shadow on the wall.
The branch, noticed it?

The tulips you brought,
The day is drawing to close:
A shadow crossing.

Facing the same street:
New and closed, worn and open.
Neighbors, passing by.

Pallets and ladder
Leaning against the rough wall:
Crunching underfoot.

The fruit of passion,
Reveal the inner beauty. 
Two halves of a whole.
