Sheltered, protected, adorned
Tulips in the rain 

Tropfen auf Blüten
Behütet, geschützt, geschmückt 
Tulpen im Regen 

Under the bamboo 
The sunlight, leaking like drops 
Falling on dark ground 

Unter dem Bambus
Das Sonnenlicht, Tropfen gleich 
Auf dunklem Boden 

From tiny red buds
Unfolding into bright white
The apple blossom 

Aus roten Knospen 
Entfaltet sich strahlend weiß 
Die Apfelblüte 

The patterns we see 
Might be traces of the past
And still, wonders bloom
